| Guys, share ko lng kwento ng friend ko who is working in an auditing firm... The story goes like this...
A few weeks ako, meron akong training dito sa sgv. marami akong nakilala na mga tao na galing sa ibang grupo. maraming new acquaintances, ung ibang mga mukha familiar pero nun ko lang sila narinig magsalita and magshare ng thoughts nila. from all the participants, merong isa na medyo nag-stand out sa lahat. nakakatawa kasi sya tapos ang dami nyang na-she-share na experiences about sa work. batch lower sya sa akin pero sabay lang kami napromote. at his age, naging trainor na rin sya sa isang training para sa isang telco client nya. magaling sya.
nabalitaan ko rin na sgv scholar pala sya nung college, graduated with honors, at top notcher sa board exam. nitong taon, nagtake din sya ng CISA exam and this august lalabas na ung result ng exam. grabe, achiever talaga.
and then a shocking and sad news came 2 or 3 weeks ako. nabundol/binundol/pinagtripan daw sya malapit sa may SM Manila. sa ulo ang tama, wala sa katawan. mag-isa lang sya when the incident happened, pero buti na lang merong mga mababait na taong nagdala sa kanya sa hospital. conscious pa sya nung dinala sa manila doctors, nasabi nya pa name ng boardmate na tatawagan sa phone nya. sabi sa hospital, he needed brain surgery, and that they have protocols bago gawin ang operation. that is, kailangan ng consent ng parents (WTF!!). It took 5 hours before they were able to locate his parents. He underwent brain surgery and was in critical condition, nasa ICU sya. His neuro surgeon thought that he has a 10% chance of survival pero dahil na rin sa delay sa surgery the damage to his brain might be irreversible. He was in a very bleak condition, pero his friends and families continued praying na maka-recover sya.
he was on a coma until, last Saturday, July 19, he passed away. he never even got the chance to see his family and friends before leaving. parang wala man lang pasabi, bigla na lang wala na, ndi na nila makikita ulet na buhay ung tao. ni hindi na sya nabigyan ng pagkakataon magbye-bye, magsabi ng gusto nyang sabihin, or i-hug ung mga taong mahal nya.
it really shook people in the office back to reality. dahil sa kanya, maraming naka-realize na hindi mo talaga alam kung kelan ka mawawala. siguro nga morbid isipin na pwedeng mawala kahit sino anytime. lahat ng tao takot mamatay, kahit ako. nevertheless, kailangan siguro i-check natin kung "ready" ba tayo, just in case. kung pano maging ready, marami ng blog at spam mails tungkol dyan. i never really took these seriously until now. kasi nakita ko mismo, na totoo pala sya, na pwedeng biglaan, walang pasabi, mawawala na lang bigla.
tungkol dun sa nakabundol/bumundol sa kanya, mukhang malabo ung pag-asa na mahuli pa sya. public place kasi. kung alam lang nya kung anong klase ng tao ung pinatay nya, siguro ndi na sya ngayon pinapatulog ng konsensiya nya. malay din naman natin, baka wala nga syang konsensiya. pero darating ung time na mahahabol din sya ng karma, kahit pa gano sya kabilis magpatakbo ng sasakyan.
